Creamy Maple Tahini Millet with Kale and Walnuts

Millet is an alkalizing grain, high in B vitamins.  The kale adds chlorophyll and iron.  The lemon is high in vitamin C, which helps to absorb calcium.  There is so much goodness in this meal.  Enjoy!


1 Cup of millet

1 Bunch of Kale


2 Tbsp of Tahini

2 tsp Maple syrup

2 tsp olive oil

2 lemons

sea salt and pepper to taste

How to prepare:

Cook millet first.  Combine 1 cup millet with 3 cups water, bring to a boil and simmer covered for 20-25 mins.

While millets cooking steam kale, until just tender.  Season with lemon, salt and pepper.


Combine tahini, maple syrup, olive oil and 1/2 lemon.  Stir until smooth, taste and adjust flavor to your taste.  You can add more lemon for a zip, or water if too thick.

Mix all ingredients together, serve warm, sprinkle with walnuts!  Eh Voila!
